"Tried out this location from our tour guide Chiara’s recommendation. Stuck to what was local and it was delicious! We had the parmagiana melanzane and the bruschetta traditionale (eggplant Parmesan and traditional Bruschette). Don’t go to a place known for for something and change it up. Let them make what they are good at. This place is better than the 4.3 on Google reviews. So try Il Siciliano when you come to Messina."

"We were waiting to get back to the ship but we decided to have an authentic taste of Italian pizza. We saw this Restaurant and it was so nice inside. We ordered their best pizza and Kristina kindly seated us to where we wanted and recommended their best pizza. We enjoyed our short but delicious pizza dinner. It was worth it. We will come back again for their pastas and all!"

"Yesterday we had dinner at Il Siciliano in Messina. We were curious and didn’t know what to expect, but once we tried the food we were truly impressed. Pasta with sardines: simply exceptional, both in flavor and in combinations. Beautifully presented and absolutely unforgettable. A MUST-TRY! Compliments to the chef! Swordfish steak: rich and authentic in flavor. For those who want to experience traditional dishes with a twist, this is definitely worth trying. Il Siciliano is not just a restaurant – it’s a real journey through the true flavors of Sicily. Thank you from the heart"

"Great restaurant, love the atmosphere and decorations. My only issue is that the portion size is so big that I couldn't eat it all but I love the variety of flavors. The servers were very personable and helpful, even although we mostly spoke English."
